Consultant on a project for capacity building for Jamaican BSOs to enable them to implement the country’s National Export Strategy (NES). Carried out with BKP Development Research & Consulting. Funded through ProInvest – October 2010-February 2011.

Consultant on a major project to provide an analysis of the regulatory regimes, statistical data and market opportunities for specific services sectors in the EU and under EPA in Botswana. Carried out with Saana Consulting on behalf of the Department of International Trade, Botswana. Funded through EU-ACP TradeCom Facility – August - December 2010.

Lead Consultant in a major study on international trade in services, foreign direct investment and the issuing of work permits to CARIFORUM countries by Canada from 2002-2008 (for CARICOM Office of Trade Negotiation). The study involves direct contact with the Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, and other sources in order to generate statistics on Trade in Services, movement of persons, and FDI (Funded by the OAS) – Mar 2010 -July 2010.

Lead Consultant in Study to Identify Opportunities and Barriers to Trade between CARIFORUM Member States and the French Caribbean Outermost Regions (FCORs). The FCORs are French Territories and as such provide opportunities for increased trade with France within the Caribbean as well as greater access to mainland France and the EU for CARIFORUM States through relations with the FCORs. The study required visits and meetings with a variety of groups in CARIFORUM Member States and the FCORs. The Study is funded under the 9th EDF and being carried out for Caribbean Export Development Agency) – October 2009-May 2010

Consultant in a Study to Assess the Impact of Migration in CARICOM Member States as a result of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy. Carried out on behalf of the CARICOM Secretariat and funded under the 10th EDF – Jan 2010 – May 2010

Lead Consultant in a project to upgrade the administrative systems and procedures in St. Vincent & The Grenadines to facilitate the free movement of goods, services, skills, capital and the right of establishment in CARICOM Member States. The study was carried out on behalf of the CSME Unit and funded by CIDA – Nov 2009- April 2010

Lead Consultant in preparing a Framework Document for a Protocol on Contingent Rights for the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas (for CARICOM Secretariat funded by CIDA) – October – January 2010.

Lead Consultant in study on regulatory regimes in selected professional services in EU member states and the opportunities and barriers to entry for CARIFORUM services exporters. The study involved conducting on the ground research in several EU Member States. The study was executed in a partnership with Linpico Sarl (for BizClim) funded by the EU – Feb– July 2009.
